Client Selections Report

Give your clients a printed record of every selection, grouped by room.

Selection appointments run more smoothly when your client has a copy of their choices to mark up. The Client Selections Report lets you create, customize and download that document straight from the job. You choose how the report is grouped and what it includes, preview it, then download it as a PDF.

Your client walks away with a physical record of everything they've chosen, and site supervisors can carry the same document on site to show trades exactly what was selected.

Downloading the Client Selections Report

  1. Navigate to Jobs > [Job name] > Project Management > Selections.

  2. Click Download Selections in the top right corner.

  3. Choose your report options (see Report Options below).

  4. Click Download PDF.

ℹ️ The preview on the right updates as you change each option, so you can check the report before you download it. These options only change how the report is laid out, never the selections themselves.

Locations

Locations let you group selections by room, such as Kitchen or Primary Bath, rather than by Cost Code. They're optional. You give a selection a location using the Location field when you create or edit it, and that location carries through to what your client sees and to the Client Selections Report.

When you group the report by Location, each room gets its own heading with its change order total alongside. Any selection without a location appears under No Location Set.

Grouping by location suits selection appointments run room by room, because the report follows the way your client walks through the house. Grouping by code suits builders whose allowances follow Cost Codes. The report groups by one or the other, never both.

ℹ️ Locations are managed in Settings > Data Setup > Locations, the same way as Cost Codes.
