Overview

Once you have completed your initial account setup in JACK, navigate to Settings > Accounting and Payments > Accounting Integration and click .

This will open a new screen in QuickBooks where you will be asked to log in using your credentials. QuickBooks will ask you to select the organisation you wish to connect to your JACK account. Select the relevant organisation and click Connect to finalise.

Once the link is created, you will be redirected back to your JACK account, where you must Configure Account Mappings using the SalesBills and Payments dropdown. Once complete, click Save Changes to finalise.

ℹ️ Account Mapping determines which QuickBooks Chart of Accounts are used for supplier bills and customer invoices, coding bills to the selected expense or cost account on approval, and invoices to the Income account linked to the relevant Product or Service when scheduled or sent.

To review or update your accounts in QuickBooks, navigate to Accounting > Chart of Accounts. For further information, see this article.

To create a new account in JACK, select from the Sales, Bills, or Payments dropdown. Enter an account number, name, type, and optional description, then click . The account will appear in your under Chart of Accounts.
