How do I avoid accidental purchases?

To restrict in-app purchases (through Google Play):

Tap Settings.
Tap Require authentication for purchases.
Enter your password.
Next, you can pick from several different authentication settings. For more control, consider one of the following:
To require a password for all purchases: Tap For all purchases through Google Play on this device .
To enter a password once for all in-app purchases within a 30-minute window: Tap Every 30 minutes.
