Green Water
If the dreaded green water has invaded your spa, don’t fret. Algae thrives in water that has a high pH or a low level of sanitizer. Adjust the pH levels in your hot tub by using Jacuzzi® pH Up or Jacuzzi® PH/Alkalinity down. Then add Jacuzzi® Spa Chlorinating Granules or Jacuzzi® Brominating Tablets as necessary. Your water will be crystal clear and ready to use in no time.
*pH Levels should be in desired range before you raise your bromine
What you’ll need
Test Strips
Jacuzzi® brominating tablets
Floating dispenser
Instructions:
Turn on pump
Submerge the test strip six inches below the water line
Check your bromine water results
The bromine desired range is between 2 and 6 ppm
To raise your bromine, utilize Jacuzzi brominating tablets 3 tablets per 300 gallons
Allow the water to circulate for 20 minutes
Retest and repeat the previous steps if needed
