Reporting and blocking users
Jamble gives you tools to protect yourself and help keep the community safe and respectful. You can report people who don't follow the rules and block people you no longer want around.
What you'll learn
Where to find the report and block options
How to report a user and what happens next
What blocking does and what it doesn't do
What it means to be blocked from a live or to see Acesso restrito (restricted access)
Where to find the options
Tap a user's profile or one of their messages in a live chat. A menu opens with options such as Ver perfil (see profile), Denunciar (report) and Bloquear (block).
You can also report a product from the menu on the product page.
Reporting a user
Open the user's menu, as explained above.
Tap Denunciar.
Choose a reason: Fraude ou Golpe (fraud or scam), Assédio (harassment), Spam, Conteúdo inadequado (inappropriate content), Conta falsa (fake account) or Outros motivos (other reasons, in which case describe what happened).
Send the report.
When the report is sent, the app shows Denúncia enviada com sucesso (report sent successfully).
Report real situations, such as harassment, threats, scams, requests to pay outside the app or other violations of Jamble's rules.
What happens after a report
The Jamble team reviews every report
We may ask for more information, such as screenshots or recordings
If a violation is confirmed, Jamble may take action depending on how serious and how frequent it is, such as warnings, feature restrictions, suspension or closing the account
Not every report leads to action, for example when there is not enough evidence or when no rule was broken.
Blocking a user
Tap Bloquear in the user's menu to stop that person from interacting with you, for example by sending you messages.
If you are a seller and you block someone while you are live, that person is also removed from your live.
Blocking does not:
Cancel orders that were already placed or confirmed
Stop shipments or deliveries in progress
Blocking is meant to prevent new interactions, not to solve a problem with an order. For that, contact support.
Unblocking: go to Ajustes > Perfis bloqueados (Settings > Blocked profiles) to see the accounts you blocked and unblock anyone you want.
Blocked from a live
The seller and the live's moderators can use Bloquear do show (block from show). The blocked person is removed from the live right away and sees the message Você foi bloqueado desta live (you've been blocked from this live). The seller can undo it with Desbloquear do show (unblock from show).
Restricted access
If you won a sale in a live and did not complete the payment, the offer button in that live shows Acesso restrito. You can keep watching, but you cannot make new offers in that live.
For sellers: moderators
As a seller, you can choose trusted moderators to help with the chat and the audience of your lives. See how in Chat and moderation tools during your show.
Using the tools properly
Abusing the report tools is not allowed
False, misleading or repeated reports may lead to action on your account
Jamble may limit access to reporting or other features in case of abuse
Frequently asked questions
Will the person know I reported them? No. As the app says on the report screen, your report is anonymous.
Does blocking someone cancel my purchase with them? No. Orders continue as normal. If you have a problem with an order, contact support.
I was blocked from a live. Can I come back? Only if the seller removes the block. If you think it was a mistake, contact the seller or support.
