Jamf ID provides users a single set of credentials to use with Jamf. Resources that you can log in to with Jamf ID are covered in Jamf ID in the Jamf Account Documentation. This article provides steps to change your Jamf ID password.
Changing your Jamf ID Password
Option 1: Proactively Changing Your Password
If you are able to log into Jamf Account, use the steps below to reset your Jamf ID password.
Log in to Jamf Account.
Go to Profile and click Security.
Click Reset Your Password.
A Jamf ID Password Reset email will be sent to your Jamf ID email address from communication@jamf.com. Click the password reset link in the email.
Enter in your new password twice and click Reset password.
Option 2: Reset your Password at Log In
If you are not able to log in to Jamf Account, you can request a password reset at the log in screen following the steps below.
Go to Jamf Account.
Click Continue with Jamf ID.
Enter your Jamf ID email and click Log in using Jamf ID.
Click on Reset Password.
Enter your Jamf ID email again if it does not auto-fill and click Continue.
A Jamf ID Password Reset email will be sent to your Jamf ID email address from communication@jamf.com. Click the password reset link in the email.
Enter in your new password twice and click Reset password.
If you do not receive the email:
Check Spam
Search for emails from communication@jamf.com
Confirm you don't have any email rules blocking that address
Option 3: Work with Jamf Support
If you need assistance resetting your Jamf ID password and the methods above are not successful, please email support@jamf.com from the email address associated with your Jamf ID.
