If you can't log in to Jamf Account with your Jamf ID

This article provides steps to take if you can't log in to Jamf Account with your Jamf ID email/password.

If using Jamf ID log in to Jamf Account, you may find yourself in one of the situations below where you cannot log in successfully:

  • Jamf Account says "wrong email or password"

  • You are not receiving the email to reset your Jamf ID password

  • You have not reset your Jamf ID password since improvements were made to Jamf Account/Jamf ID in March 2024

  • You are not able to create a Jamf ID (this may be because a Jamf ID already exists for that email)

Use the steps below to either gain access to Jamf Account with your existing Jamf ID or temporarily create a new Jamf ID.


Reset your Jamf ID Password

If you have not already tried resetting your password, follow the steps below to do so. If you have already tried resetting your Jamf ID password, continue to the next section.

  1. Enter in what you believe is your Jamf ID email and click Log in.

  2. Click on Reset Password.

  3. Enter your Jamf ID email again if it does not auto-fill and click Continue.

  4. Go to your email and look for the Jamf ID Password Reset email from communication@jamf.com.

  5. Click the password reset link in the email.

  6. Enter in your new password twice and click Reset password.


Not Receiving the Jamf ID Password Reset Email

  1. Check the Spam folder for the password reset email.

  2. Search your inbox for emails from communication@jamf.com.

  3. Confirm there are no rules setup for your email that are blocking emails from communication@jamf.com.

If the email still has not been located, this may mean the email address you tried does not exist as a Jamf ID or there is a something blocking it on Jamf's side. Follow the steps below.

If you need assistance resetting your Jamf ID password and the methods above are not successful, please email support@jamf.com from the email address associated with your Jamf ID.
