You are now able to Bulk Publish transactions with Jack, straight from the Bookkeeping Page once you are happy that all the details are correct and ready to go to the relevant Accounting Platform. This means that you won't have to publish each document one by one anymore and can save time when using Jack as part of your Bookkeeping work.
Note: This is the BETA roll out of Bulk Publishing and we will continue to make enhancements to the functionality and user experience over the next few weeks. Your feedback is always welcome.
Step 1: Selecting transactions for Bulk Publishing
Select up to 25 documents at a time for Bulk Publishing
Click Bulk Publish and give the job a name
Step 2 - Validating all required fields are complete
Jack will validate that all required information is available for publishing
If successful, Jack will send the transactions to a queue to be published
IF any documents are not fully validated, unfortunately Jack will ask you to check on these and to try bulk publish them all again. Take a look here for what those mandatory requirements are.
Step 3 - Once all transactions have been validated
Navigate to the Dashboard to see the progress of your Bulk Publishing task
You will see a few statuses:
Successful: refers to the transactions that have been published to the Accounting Platform without errors and you should see these now appearing in the Published status list on the Bookkeeping Page.
Unsuccessful: refers to any transactions that have not been published to the Accounting Platform and contain errors. You can view these by clicking back to the Bookkeeping Page and clicking the specific transaction which will still be in a Reviewing Status. You can resolve the error and attempt to publish again.
