What integrations and connections does Jack support?

What if some of my clients have their own Xero/SAGE/QBO account and some don’t? How do I get them onto Jack?

For now, Jack is only able to handle clients that have their own account, not linked to your practice management account.


What if my client doesn’t use Xero, SAGE or QBO?

At the moment Jack doesn't work for other accounting systems, but we are working on this and will share updates as soon as possible.


Will clients see Jack as connected when they log into Xero/SAGE/QBO?

As your client will have to authorise the connection, they will be aware that Jack is connected via the secure API.


What if there is an exchange rate difference between Jack and Xero/SAGE/QBO? Does Jack convert into GBP or send the foreign currency?

Jack will send the foreign currency, in the future Jack will have its own converter.


Who has to provide permission for Jack to integrate to Xero/SAGE/QBO?

The client will have to provide permission to connect Jack to Xero through the API, they will get a notification of this.


How do I correct something if Jack has made a mistake after it posts to Xero/SAGE/QBO or does Jack receive the corrected information back?

Expense transactions published will be able to be edited and republished if something needs to be changed.


What if my client is on the Xero Starter Plan, can Jack send more than 5 documents?

At the moment, Jack only supports Xero plans greater than the Starter Plan.


What does my client see when Jack publishes an invoice to Xero

They will see a notice that says, 'Received through the Xero API from Jack'
