What types of documents does Jack extract/What documents does Jack not extract?

At the moment Jack can extract pdf, jpeg, jpg and png files no more than 150mb in size.


How do I get client invoices into Jack?

There are a number of ways that Jack receives documents:

  • documents can be forwarded via email

  • documents can be sent directly via WhatsApp

  • Jack can fetch directly from a Gmail or Office 365 inbox

  • documents can be uploaded directly onto the WebApp


Can Jack extract documents for more than one client at a time?

Yes, Jack can extract documents for multiple clients simultaneously.


Does Jack extract automatically as invoices are sent in or do I have to go in and extract one by one?

Jack will extract documents as soon as they are received, meaning you do not need to wait to review.


Will Jack identify a credit note?

Yes, Jack will be able to identify credit notes and duplicates of invoices already received.


Will Jack identify a document if it is not a valid invoice?

Yes, as Jack is an AI agent and not using OCR, he will detect when an invoice is not valid for VAT purposes or isn't an actual expense invoice at all.


Will Jack be able to distinguish between a real expense document and a picture of something irrelevant?

Yes, Jack will flag this and you can see these types of documents under 'Failed'.


Will Jack be able to extract pictures of documents?

Yes, with all the relevant details.


Will Jack be able to read credit card statements?

This will be available as part of the Bank Reconciliation feature in Q3 2025. *Coming Soon*
