**Note** In order to make this repeat exception carry forward into future jobs, edits must be made to the Magic Job.

Inside of Jetpack Workflow, you can set up jobs to repeat on set schedules for a client. Sometimes, when work repeats on a specific date (ex: 15th or last day) the due date of a job can end up falling on a Saturday or Sunday. Now we know no one wants to spend their weekend working but you still want to make sure you get your work done on time for your clients. Here are the steps to walk you through how to set up your jobs to have repeat schedules that exclude the weekends!

1. From the Jobs tab, click on the Magic Job you want to edit
    a. Click the Edit button
    b. From the Repeat schedule, choose New Schedule

4. Choose your custom repeat schedule on either a daily, weekly, monthly or annual and then choose the Exclude weekends option. Here's a picture showing a custom schedule of monthly on the 15th and last day but excluding weekends.

5. Click create to apply this repeat criteria. Voila! This option will ensure that your due dates never fall on a Saturday or Sunday. If the date you select is in fact a Saturday or Sunday, the system will automatically make the due date off that job the Friday before.
