What is a Job?

A Job is anything a client will pay you to do. Think Monthly Bookkeeping for ABC Company or 1040 for John Smith.

What is a task?

A Task is a step within a job - common examples would be tasks called prepare, review, reconcile etc. A Task is an action item that's assigned to you or another team member to complete within a job profile. Each task can be assigned to one individual user and can help you and your team members collaborate and pass work back and forth or show what is completed and what is still left to do for a specific workflow.
