On the website
Jiffy automatically displays in the language you’ve prioritized in your browser settings.
Follow the steps below to switch between English and French.
Chrome (Windows / macOS)
Open Chrome → three-dot menu (⋮) → Settings → Languages.
Under “Preferred languages,” click Add language and choose English or Français (Canada).
Click the three-dot menu next to your preferred language → Move to top.
Reload the Jiffy page — it will display in the language you selected.
Microsoft Edge (Windows / macOS)
Open Edge → three-dot menu (⋯) → Settings → Languages.
Click Add languages, choose English or Français (Canada), then click Add.
Click the three-dot menu beside your preferred language → Move to top (or Display Microsoft Edge in this language if you prefer).
Restart Edge and reopen Jiffy — it should now display in your chosen language.
Safari (macOS)
Safari follows your Mac’s language settings.
Open System Settings > General > Language & Region.
Click + Add Language, select English or Français (Canada), and drag your preferred language to the top of the list.
Restart Safari and reload Jiffy — it will appear in that language.
Tip: You can always move your other language back to the top later — Jiffy will keep your preference until you clear site data.
On the mobile app
iOS
You can change Jiffy’s language directly in your iPhone settings.
Go to Settings > General > Language & Region.
Tap Add Language, choose English or Français (Canada), and make sure it appears in your list.
Then go to Settings > Jiffy > Language.
Select your preferred language.
Reopen Jiffy — the app will display in that language.
If you don’t see the “Language” option under Jiffy’s app settings, your iOS version doesn’t support per-app language. In that case, move your preferred language to the top of the list under Settings > General > Language & Region.
Android
If you’re using Android 13 or newer, you can change Jiffy’s language without switching your whole phone:
Go to Settings > System > Languages & Input > Languages.
Tap Add a language, choose English or Français (Canada), and make sure it appears in the list (it doesn’t need to be first).
Then go to Settings > Apps > Jiffy > Language.
Select your preferred language.
Reopen Jiffy — it will display in that language.
On older Android versions, Jiffy follows your device’s main language. Move your preferred language to the top of the list to switch.
Still seeing the wrong language?
Try these quick checks:
For browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari):
Make sure your preferred language is listed first in your browser’s (or system’s, for Safari) language list.
Refresh the page or restart your browser.
Clear cookies or cached site data if you previously visited Jiffy in another language.
For the mobile app (iOS / Android):
Confirm you’ve selected the correct language under your app or system settings.
Fully close and reopen the app after changing language.
If your OS version doesn’t support per-app language, Jiffy will follow your device’s primary language.
If you’ve checked all this and the app or site still appears in the wrong language, contact us through chat — we’ll help you get it sorted.
