How pricing works

How Jiffy Pricing works. Each of our categories has a pre-set rate listed or it will say Free Quote.

When requesting a job, there'll be an easy-to-understand rate card or it'll state if that category is a Free Quote.

For smaller jobs (think under $500), the categories have a pre-set rate card that's simply followed. Our theory is that for small jobs, it's quicker/easier to follow a fair hourly/unit rate, rather than schedule a time to quote, etc. Rate cards are displayed as having a job minimum (ex. $100 for 1.5 hours of labour), along with an additional unit price (ex. $65/hr thereafter the minimum). Pros will still do their best to let you know ahead of time roughly how much the entire job should be.

A few categories will be listed as 'Free Quote' - these are larger jobs (think $500+), where our pros are happy to provide an estimate in advance using pics/description, or even coming out prior to take a look.

Either way, once a Pro accepts your job request, you'll be able to speak with them directly about the job details/cost, and you're only charged if it goes ahead.

If you decide to cancel the job after speaking with your Pro, there is of no charge.
