When you log in to Jigcar at app.jigcar.com, you'll see a sidebar on the left. This is your main navigation. Not everyone sees the same items - what appears depends on your role and permissions.
Movements
This is the main page for most users, and where you'll spend the majority of your time. It has two tabs:
Movements tab - a table showing every vehicle movement request in your system. Search by registration or VIN, filter by site, status, date range, transport type, and more. Click into any movement to see its full details, or click + Movement to request a new one.
Analytics tab - key metrics for your organisation: total movements, costs, delivery performance, and trends over time. Use the date filter to adjust the reporting period.
đĄ Tip: If the table looks empty or you can't find a vehicle, check your filters - you may have a saved filter narrowing your view. See How to save filters for more.
Infrastructure
This is where admins manage the foundational setup of your Jigcar account. It has three tabs:
Sites - your dealership locations, prep centres, compounds, and other sites
Drivers - your internal driver pool (trade plate drivers and transporter drivers)
Transport Providers - your external transport companies and their contact details
TMS (Transport Management System)
The TMS is the planning module. You'll only see this if your role includes planning access - site specific staff won't see it.
This is where planners build loads, plan driver routes, manage schedules, and run the AI route optimiser. The key areas are:
Unplanned jobs list - accepted movement requests waiting to be assigned to a driver or route
Gantt chart - a visual timeline of all planned routes and driver schedules for the day
Route planner & map - the pickup and drop-off sequence for a specific route, with drive times and distances
Optimiser - select jobs and routes, hit Optimise, and Jigcar Intelligence suggests the most efficient plan
