It’s important for drivers to be added onto Jigcar since they’ll need to interact with the platform through the driver app rather than the main web interface in order to receive their routes. To do this:
Step 1: Go to the Infrastructure tab from the main navigation.
Step 2: Navigate to the Drivers section.
Step 3: Click Add Infrastructure on the top right.
Step 4: Fill in the required driver details and click Add Driver.
The driver can now be assigned to movements.
💡 Tip: If you're setting up a driver who will be using a transporter (truck), you'll need to have added the transporter first within the infrastructure tab. Then, when setting the driver up, you need to assign a vehicle to them with the correct capacity. See the TMS & Load Planning articles for more on this.
