Sites are the locations your organisation operates from - individual dealerships, preparation centres, storage compounds, auction houses, and so on. Every movement in Jigcar has an origin and destination site, so it's important that your sites are set up correctly.
Adding a new site
Step 1: Go to Infrastructure > Sites.
Step 2: Click + Infrastructure on the top right.
Step 3: Enter the site details.
Step 4: Save the site. It will now be available as a pickup or drop-off location when creating movements.
Editing a site
Click on the three dots on the far right next to any existing site to update its details and click save.
đĄ Tip: Keep site names consistent and clear, especially if you have many locations. A naming convention like "Town - Brand" (e.g. "Leeds - BMW") makes it easier for coordinators and planners to find the right site quickly.
