Many organisations receive vehicle movement requests by email. Jigcar's smart email parsing feature reads these emails and PDF attachments, extracts the key details, and creates draft movements for you to approve.
What gets extracted:
Vehicle registration numbers or VINs
Origin and destination addresses
Requested dates
Contact details
Special instructions or notes
Reviewing and correcting
The AI is accurate but not perfect. Always review draft movements before confirming, particularly:
Check addresses are correct (the parser may struggle with unusual formatting)
Verify vehicle details match
Add any information the email didn't include (e.g. transport type preference)
đĄ Tip: The more consistently formatted the incoming emails are, the more accurate the parsing. If you're receiving requests from a regular sender, let them know that clear, structured emails get processed faster.
