Recorders, analysts, managers, oh my! Let us explain the different roles users can have.
In Jiminny, there are 3 types of roles you can apply to a user
1. Recorder
2. Voice (applicable only if you use Jiminny Voice dialer)
3. Insights
To those main roles you can give additional access by assigning Manager or Admin.
Recorder
This role is a recording seat and enables users to record/stream into Jiminny. Each user that has the Recorder role will be charged with a paying licence.
Voice
This role is for users of the Jiminny Voice dialer only. It is available only in conjunction with a Recorder role so the user can record their calls using Jiminny voice.
Insights
This role is for people who will be actively coaching and accessing reports but not streaming or recording their calls into Jiminny. It is used for listening and analysing calls, coaching, analysing deals.
Applicable for departmental stakeholders, such as Head of Product or Marketing, RevOps Leader, line managers that don't have customer meetings.
Important note: This role will soon be renamed to 'Analyst' to provide more clarity on what it does.
Manager
Managers are appointed for each Team you have set up in Jiminny. They have default views over their teams for reporting and OnDemand. Managers can invite and manage their team members as well as do the custom setup they want for their team.
Admin
Admins have full permissions and total control over all settings and configurations.
βCan I add users who don't have CRM access?
Yes you can add anyone to Jiminny with or without CRM. The only users who need CRM access are the once that make calls and/or edit opportunity fields in the CRM through Deal Insights.
Calls that are made by users without CRM access may not be able to log their calls into the CRM although this depends on configuration as some users may not have CRM access but can push calls into the CRM from Jiminny.
To invite users to join Jiminny, all you need to do is go to Organisation Settings > Users > Invite User.

For now you are able to see the number of used licences your organisation is using.
This can be seen in Organisation Settings > Users:
We will be working on enabling your finance team to download invoices and configure billing settings.
