Workplace preferences are the characteristics a person needs for workplace satisfaction. Understanding workplace preferences can help students find employers that provide work environments conducive to personal happiness and success. Identifying what one needs from a company/supervisor to be successful in their position will help them in their job search by narrowing down career industries and companies that are better suited for their preferred workplace preferences. PathwayU assesses these workplace needs using a modified version of the Organizational Culture Profile (OCP) measure.

The workplace preference assessment has been designed to help students:

  • Identify workplace non-negotiables when considering employment

  • Assess employers that share workplace preferences and values

  • Identify what aspects they look for in an employer
