PathwayU sites are already pre-configured to display all standard features according to best practices. However, we do have the ability to customize and toggle ON/OFF the following site features based upon request.

If you would like to customize or change the visibility to any of these pre-configured features, please contact support@jobzology.com with your request.

  • Subdomain in URL: By default, we customize your subdomain to match your organization's domain. So if your organization website is https://www.acmeu.com your PathwayU site will be https://acmeu.pathwayu.com. However, we can adjust the subdomain used if desired as long as it doesn't conflict with existing clients.

  • Branding Colors: PathwayU sites contain two customizable colors: (1) Primary, and (2) Secondary. We typically extract these color values from your logo/website and match them best we can. However, if you want to use a different color combination we do have the ability to adjust the pallet for you. Please provide an HTML color code such as #B51219 for each. The Primary color is assigned to buttons and menu links and the Secondary color is assigned to the other graphical elements like the assessment result bars for example - see example:

  • Logo: By default, we customize your PathwayU site with your university's standard logo. We try to find a transparent version so it blends well into the site. We can swap out the logo if you would like to replace it with a different one. Preferred formats are transparent .PNG format.

  • Indeed Job Board Visibility: This feature comes turned ON by default. We have the ability to turn the Job Board OFF completely. If OFF this eliminates the JOB BOARD menu item in the top navigation menu for all users.

  • My Journey Visibility: This feature comes turned ON by default. We can turn this OFF completely, eliminating the MY JOURNEY menu item in the top navigation menu for all users.

  • Standard Programs: This feature is ON by default and provides students with a standard set of Programs (Majors/ Fields of Study) that would prepare them for the specific occupation they are viewing. This shows up on the Programs tab under each occupation and leverages standard CIP (Classification of Instructional Programs) to SOC (Standard Occupation Code) taxonomy. ** Note: If this is OFF then no Programs tab will show up under each occupation.

  • Custom Program Information: This features is OFF by default and provides a way for you to communicate more organization specific information about your programs. ** Note: If the Standard Programs option above is OFF then this will not show up as the entire Programs tab will be removed. This is helpful if you have requirements, capacity or other specific information you want to provide. Most clients direct this to their existing website that provides details on all of their programs. This appears right above the standard programs listed (see feature one above) and looks like this:

Other examples of what other clients have used here:

  • Hide Minor Level: This feature is OFF by default and provides functionality to hide results on the Counselor Dashboard based on permissions. There are three user levels: Student, Faulty/Staff, and Administrators. If OFF, both Administrators and Faculty/Staff are able to see all accounts in the site on the Counselor Dashboard. If this is ON, the Faculty/Staff user level will only see Student accounts in the dashboard. Administrators will still be able to see all other Administrator, Faculty/Staff and Student accounts. The Student level will only have access to their individual account and do not have any access to the Counselor Dashboard regardless of this setting.

  • Secondary Email Visibility*: This feature comes turned ON by default. However, we can toggle this OFF. For instance, if we have this feature turned ON, new users will be prompted to provide a secondary email address upon account creation (helpful is they need to recover account like a student who no longer has access to their school email once they graduate). If we have this feature turned OFF, new users will not be prompted to provide a secondary email address upon account creation.
โ€‹*Please note: When turned ON, users are given the ability to skip this step and they are not required to provide a secondary email address. This can be enter later via Account Settings.

  • Schedule Appointment Link: We have the ability to send students to a specific site or launch an email to a specific email address (with subject and some body text if desired).

  • This button shows up on the Assessments page:

And also on the standard My Journey page in a couple spots:

** Note: If you customize the My Journey screen and remove the existing cards with this button and put in a new card for this same purpose - it will not be connected to the button on the Assessments page so be sure to let us know if you need changes there to match any customization you make on the My Journey screen.

  • Military Crosswalk Visibility: This feature comes turned ON by default. However, we can toggle this OFF to hide the Military Crosswalk filter in the Career Matches section when viewing ALL CAREERS. This filter is way at the bottom of the possible filters.

  • General Demographic Question Visibility: This feature comes turned ON by default and are helpful in gathering standard demographics and other information that is useful in preparing for counseling sessions. Additional details can be found here.

  • Completion Email*: This feature comes turned OFF by default. This is a dialog box that pops-up once a new user has complete all assessments for the first time. Students can enter an email of their choice to notify someone that they've completed their assessments. This can be useful if you are using PathwayU in orientation or other formal classwork and you would like them to notify someone when completed.
โ€‹*Please note: The students can also send proof manually at any time by navigating to the lower right-hand portion of the side-bar on the ASSESSMENTS page and clicking on the SEND PROOF button.

If you would like to customize or change the visibility to any of these pre-configured features, please contact support@jobzology.com with your request.
