Summary

On this page we need some basic information about the person(s) responsible for filling in the metric. This is you!

What is the Responsible Person?

The responsible person is the person filling in the metric— either via the metric sheet or via a digital tool like the Biodiversity Net Gain Tool. i.e. it's you! This may or may not be the same person as the competent person (who did the site survey) or the applicant (who put in the planning application).

For reference, these are the three people (who can all be the same person or different)

  • The Applicant: The person putting in the planning application.

  • The Competent Person: The person responsible for the site walkover and site survey

  • The Responsible Person: The person responsible for filling in the metric
