Did you use your LNRS when modifying strategic significance values?

On this page, you will need to let us know if you consulted your Local Planning Authority's Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS).

LNRS are expected to be published from 2024. They will affect habitat values by, for example, stating that certain habitats have strategic significance.

We need to know if you considered their advice when deciding whether or not to alter the strategic significance setting of your habitats, you should confirm this here.

You will need to click one of the below options on this page;

  • Yes, I used my LPA's LNRS (or alternative) to inform strategic significance values

  • No, I did not consult my LPA's LNRS (or alternative) for this purpose

If you selected yes, then you will need to add a short summary in the text box summarising how you plan on legally securing your significant enhancements and/or creation.
