Congratulations: you've launched your campaign on Join, and content is starting to be uploaded by influencers. From now on, we can track the results of your campaign in real-time under the tab "Reports." In this article, we'll explain how it works, and what metrics we use in our reporting dashboard. Before we start, let's discuss the metrics and their definitions.

Metrics

  • (Social) reach - The social reach is the amount of followers of the channel where a post is published. For blogs, we count the monthly unique visitors as followers.

  • Engagement rate - The engagement rate is a percentage that expresses how many people actively engage with a post. The percentage is calculated by diving all engagements (likes, comments etc.) through the total amount of followers.

  • Impressions - The views of posts and stories.

  • Likes - The total number of likes the delivered and selected content have received, across channels that support likes.

  • Comments - The total number of comments the delivered and selected content have received, across channels that support comments. Comments on blogposts are not included.

  • Pageviews - The total amount of pageviews on blogposts that are delivered. Note: pageviews are only visible for influencers who have connected their Google Analytics account.

  • Unique views - The amount of unique users reached by the piece of content.

  • Story interactions - The amount of interactions in stories.

  • Cost per View (CPV) - The average cost per view, per post. The total price of the post divided by the amount of views.

  • Cost per Engagement (CPE) - The average cost per engagement, per post. The total price of the post divided by the amount of engagements.

Dashboard

If you enter the reports, you'll can see the name of your campaign, the header picture from your briefing and your logo and brand name. Below, you'll find the profile pictures and names of influencer that have uploaded content for this campaign. Next, you'll find the general statistics of the campaign. Below, you'll find the actual content, supported with their individual statistics. The default view shows content uploaded by all influencers, on all channels.

Influencer

Next, it's possible to filter the results by influencer. Interested in the results that are achieved by influencer X? Select the influencer in the overview, and the data is adjusted to show you those specific results. Interested in the difference between your male influencers and your female influencers? You can also select multiple profiles, to check out their specific results. Done comparing influencers? If you de-select the influencer profiles, the reporting will return to the default settings.

Content

Moreover, it's possible to filter your results by channel and content type. Below the influencers, you can find the drop down menu "Filter by social channel."  Now you can take a look at, for example, all Instagram content in this campaign. Only looking to check your story results? Following up, you can also filter by content type. If you click "Instagram" and "Instagram stories" you'll only see the results of the stories in this campaign. All metrics are automatically updated.

Grid view

In the default settings, the reports will show the deliverables in the "Grid view." This shows all uploaded content, with the statistics per post. For stories, the posts will show impressions, unique views and interactions. Social content will show comments and likes. Blogposts will show pageviews. You can filter the content by showing the most recent posts first, showing the chronological order, or showing the best performing content first.

List view

Another possibility, however, is to show the deliverables in the list view. To initiate the list view, click "List view" on your right hand side. The list view will show you all available statistics per deliverable. From left to right, the list view shows a thumbnail of the post, the channel it's posted on, the content type, the influencer, the date, and the available metrics. Additionally, you can filter the list view by 'Post statistics' or 'Cost statistics.'

Export

Want to present your results to a colleague, or do some additional analysis? You can export the reports as a PDF-presentation, which can be easily shared. If you have on of our pro-packs, you can also download the results in CSV. This will show you all the metrics as comma-separated-values, for you to further analyse in Excel/Spreadsheets.

That's about it! If you still have any questions, or if you're otherwise struggling with the reports, please let us know in the support chat. We'd love to help you out! Good luck analysing your campaign. We hope it was a great succes! :)
