Join Stories Application installation
1 - Application Already Installed
Click on Settings > Shopping in the studio, then select âSign out.â
Reconnect by clicking âConnect feedâ
2 - Application Not Installed
To install the Join Stories application via the studio:
In Settings > Shopping, click on âConnect feedâ
A window will appear for you to connect to Shopify.
If JOIN is already installed on your store, you can update it from this window,
otherwise, you will need to click âInstallâ in this window.
Global Script activating
Check the box for the global script to activate page analytics.
If you are using a Consent Management Platform (CMP), the Global Script can be conditioned on the user's consent. In the dropdown menu below the Global Script field, select the corresponding consent category (e.g., Analytics, Marketing, etc.) so that the JOIN script only loads after consent has been given.
Ensure the Shopify pixel is connected by going to Settings â Customer Events.
This application allows you to automatically use the Shopify pixel and activate the global script.
The global script tracks events such as page-loaded page-view page-exit
The pixel tracks events like cart-sell product-sell product-remove-from-cart product-add-to-cart
