Report Caveats
There are a few important caveats and limitations to be aware of when using this report. Use these details to better understand how the data behaves and how to interpret it correctly.
Caveats | Details and Impact |
The report defaults to Active memberships only | To see paused, past-due, or canceled memberships, remove or change this filter — otherwise they won't appear even though they exist in the underlying data. |
"Cancellation Scheduled" will display an “Active” status until on or after the cancellation date to which the status will update to inactive | When a membership is marked as Cancellation scheduled, it remains active until its scheduled cancellation date. Because the membership will end instead of renewing, the Next renewal date field displays null. |
Membership status reason is a free-text/attribute field, not a fixed list | Because Membership status reason and Cancellation reason capture the reason behind a status change, values will vary by how the change was made (client request, staff action, failed payment, etc.). |
