What you can update in the app
You can update the following details yourself in the app.
Name
Email address
Phone number
Age
Home address
To make changes:
Go to My Account
Select the detail you want to update
Enter your new information
Confirm the change
Changes to your email or phone number may require verification to confirm it's really you.
What requires contacting support
Some changes can't be made directly in the app. You'll need to contact us if you want to update your:
Legal name If your name has changed (for example, due to marriage or deed poll), email us at hello@joinchest.com with documentation supporting the change, such as a marriage certificate, decree absolute, or deed poll. We'll update your records once verified.
National Insurance number If you entered your NI number incorrectly during setup, contact us to have it corrected.

How long do updates take?
Most updates made in the app take effect immediately. Changes that require support review, such as name changes, are typically processed within a few business days.
