If the Chest app isn't working properly, there are a few things you can try to get it running again.
Quick fixes
Start with these simple steps:
Close and reopen the app – fully close the app (not just minimise) and open it again
Check your internet connection – make sure you're connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data
Restart your device – turn your phone off and on again
Update the app – check the App Store or Google Play Store for any available updates
These steps resolve most issues.
Clear the app cache
If the quick fixes don't work, try clearing the app cache:
On Android: Go to Settings → Apps → Chest → Storage → Clear Cache
On iPhone: Offload the app by going to Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Chest → Offload App, then reinstall from the App Store
Reinstall the app
If problems persist, try deleting and reinstalling the app. Don't worry – your account and pension are stored securely on our servers, not on your device. You won't lose any data. Simply download the app again from the App Store or Google Play Store and log in as usual.
Check for known issues
Occasionally, we may experience technical issues that affect all users. Check your email or our social media channels for any announcements about outages or planned maintenance.
