I don't recognize an account on my credit report

When method pulls duplicate accounts or accounts that don't belong to you under our credit report feature.

If you just connected your credit report through Method and don't recognize an account here is what you can do.

  1. Check your credit report to see if its listed under your name (you can do this easily on Credit Karma). It should give you more details on the account!

  2. Try to contact the financial institution directly and they should pull up your account information with your name and SSN.

Your student loans may appear multiple times (by disbursement and by total amount) but this doesn't not affect any app function.
