I got asked to verify myself

If you redeem your rewards, you may need to complete additional verification to get your deposit. These alerts are sent to your email.

We automatically flag redemptions for routine review to keep Debbie safe and secure for everyone. Even if you have redeemed before or verified previously, you may still get asked to verify.

This verification helps us make sure rewards and the app stay secure.

If you’ve not received your reward deposit, it’s likely because we are waiting on verification from you. Check your email!

Verification requires you submit a selfie with your ID so we can confirm it is you, and a bank statement with your Debbie partner bank.

If your verification is approved you will get an email from us and your rewards will continue on our processing timeline.

If we are not able to verify you from your documents you will get an email requesting the correct information.

When are verification emails sent out?

If your account is flagged, you will get the email the same day as your redemption request.

What happens if I don't verify?

We will send a follow-up after a week if we haven't heard from you yet. If you fail to verify your identity within 2 weeks, or submit the incorrect information and fail to provide updates when asked, your rewards will be added back to your Debbie account.
