How do Equalution subscriptions work?

We offer a number of subscription options/payment cycles when signing up. Just like other subscription-based services, your payments continue until you request to cancel your account.

Please note, for our Premium (Aus only) on our weekly subscription option there is still a minimum 8-week requirement.


What's included in a subscription?

The below is all housed in our Equalution app.

Premium Daily Targets + Meal Plan - 8-week minimum term (Aus only):

  • One full-day, custom meal plan provided each week

  • Personalised calorie and macronutrient targets calculated for you - reviewed regularly and optimised when needed

  • Unlimited meal swaps

  • Full recipe library access - to over 8,000+ meals

  • 1:1 coaching with our team of nutrition coaches via in-app chat

  • Weekly check-ins with a progress tracker and chat support to maintain motivation and accountability

  • Food diary, water tracker and grocery list features

  • In-app educational guides​

Standard Plan*:

  • One full-day, custom meal plan provided each week

  • Personalised calorie and macronutrient targets calculated for you

  • Unlimited meal swaps

  • Weekly check-ins with a progress tracker and chat support to maintain motivation and accountability

  • Full recipe library access - to over 8,000+ meals

  • Food diary, water tracker and grocery list features

  • In-app educational guides

Aside from the app, you'll also be granted lifetime access to the private equ Facebook community. You can request access to join here and it will be approved within 1 business day.

Our Premium Plan (Aus only) have an 8-week minimum subscription term. It’s the optimal time for our nutrition coaches to guide you and for you to start seeing and feeling incredible, sustainable results 🚀

Can I hold/pause my service?

Yes, via the Settings section in-app. When directed, we can put your subscription on hold for up to twelve weeks.

In order to hold your account:

  1. Open Settings in the app

  2. Select 'Manage Subscription'

  3. Select 'Go On Hold'

  4. Enter the date you wish to first go on hold

  5. Click next

  6. Enter the date you wish to come off hold

  7. Click to save

Your account will then be held on the dates requested. If you need to amend this you will need to contact support.

Please note that holds are actioned from check-in day to check-in day. This ensures a seamless experience.

Your payments will also be held in line with this hold.

Can I upgrade/downgrade my subscription?

Yes, you can upgrade/downgrade to our Standard Plan or our Premium Plan (Aus only). The Standard Plan includes the self-tracking tool, weekly meal plans and the ability to submit weekly check-in results to track your progress by yourself. The Standard Plan differs from the Premium Plan (Aus only) in that you will NOT have an assigned coach to check in with you each week and answer any questions you have during the week (e.g. meal swaps, dining out, etc).

You can downgrade/upgrade yourself by:

  1. Go to the Settings section in app

  2. Select 'Manage Subscription'

  3. Select 'See more subscriptions'

  4. Log into your account on our website

  5. Click 'Profile' which will provide a drop-down box

  6. Click 'Subscriptions' and you will be able to upgrade/downgrade your subscription from there

In these cases, you will not see an option to downgrade to the Standard Plan, so please reach out in-app if you have any questions.

Can I transfer my subscription to a family member or friend?

Yes. We are happy to transfer the remainder of your subscription over to any person you nominate. However, they have to have been a prior or current equ customer. We cannot transfer your subscription to a new sign-up.

Just provide us with your nominated person's name and contact details so we can have our accounts team action this for you 👌

What happens to all my recipes when my subscription ends?

All of your recipes and customised meal plans will remain in your app for you to access at any time whilst on an active subscription. If you decide to cancel, you will no longer have access to these meal plans.
