How to connect your Shopify store to Yoho

Integrate Shopify to sync products to Yoho

Yoho allows you to connect your Shopify store to sync your products to Yoho to allow creative teams to map creatives to products.


Step 1: Generate Shopify API credentials

To connect your Shopify store, you need:

  • API Key

  • Admin API Access Token

  • API Secret Key

Follow these steps to generate these credentials:

  1. Log in to your Shopify account.

  2. Click Settings > Apps and sales channels.

  3. Click Develop apps in the top right corner.

  4. Click Create an app and enter a name (e.g., "Yoho").

  5. Assign yourself as the App Developer and click Create app.


Step 2: Set Admin API permissions

  1. Click Configuration > Configure on the Admin API Integration box.

  2. On Admin API access scopes, enable the following permissions:

    • Inventory (read_inventory)

      • Usage: To read inventory levels per product to assist with marketing calendar planning & contributor product distribution.

      • Link to date points: ProductVariantConnection

    • Products: (read_products)

      • Usage: ​To read products for mapping to marketing calendar events, creatives, contributors, and assignments

  3. Click Save.

These permissions allow you to:

- Map your products to creatives in your Yoho Library
- Map your products to your marketing calendar events

Step 3: Finalize the connection

  1. Go to API Credentials at the top of the page.

  2. Click Install and confirm installation.

  3. Copy and paste the following credentials into Yoho:

    1. Shopify Store URL β†’ Store URL

    2. Admin API Access Token β†’ API Key

  4. Click Connect to complete the integration.
