How do I invite team members and contributors?

Invite admins and contributors to Yoho, assign roles, and manage access to planning and creative work.

Updated over 3 months ago

Yoho lets you collaborate seamlessly by inviting teammates as either Admins or Contributors. Each role comes with different permissions, and you can create new roles tailored to your team's needs.

Step 1: Go to the Admin panel

Navigate to Settings → Admin.
You’ll find tabs for Admins, Admin Roles, Contributors, and Contributor Roles.

Step 2: Invite your team

Click the red button on either the Admins or Contributors tab.

You’ll see a form where you can:

  • Enter the teammate’s email address (required)

  • Optionally add their phone number

  • Select a user role from the dropdown

📌 Note:
In a brand-new Yoho workspace, the Account Owner is the only available admin role. Every admin you invite will also be given Account Owner access unless you create additional admin/user-level roles first.

📝 Pro tip:
You can create custom roles under the Admin Roles tab. These will appear in the User Role dropdown during the invitation process, allowing you to control access to things like:

  • Planning

  • Launching

  • Reporting

  • Team settings

You can also create non-admin roles here (Planner Only, Marketing Team Admin, etc.) to restrict access to only what’s needed.

Step 3: Assign Contributors

To invite creative collaborators (designers, ad managers, remote teams, etc.), go to the Contributors tab and follow the same steps:

  • Click

  • Enter their name/email

  • Assign them a Contributor Role

You can customize contributor permissions and create new ones under Contributor Roles, such as viewing only assigned work or uploading creatives to the Library.

Step 4: Manage access

Once invited, users will appear with a status:

  • Active (they’ve joined)

  • No Access (pending or removed)

  • You’ll also see their last login time

You can edit, reassign, or remove users at any time via the Admin panel.
