Shopify Integration

Updated this week

Yoho’s Shopify integration allows brands to connect their product catalog directly to their content and marketing workflows. By syncing product data from Shopify into Yoho, teams can create better briefs, organize assets by SKU, and ensure contributors always have the right context when producing content.

The integration is designed to be lightweight, reliable, and safe. Yoho reads data from Shopify but does not modify your store.

How the Shopify Sync Works

Once connected, Yoho securely reads product data from your Shopify store to power several core workflows.

Product & SKU Sync

Yoho pulls in all SKUs, including both active and inactive products. This ensures your historical products, upcoming launches, and paused items are still available for reporting, categorization, and creative reference.

Real-Time Updates

Product updates in Shopify sync to Yoho in real time. This includes changes to product details and images, so your content system stays aligned with your store without manual updates.

Product Image Storage

All product listing images are saved and available inside Yoho. These images can then be surfaced automatically in briefs, assignments, and events to support content creation.

This eliminates the need to manually hunt down product photos or re-upload assets across tools.

How to Connect Shopify to Yoho

Connecting Shopify takes just a few minutes.

  1. Navigate to the Shopify Integrations page in Yoho

  2. Click Connect next to Shopify

  3. A Shopify authorization window will open

  4. Sign in to your Shopify account and approve the connection

To complete the connection, your Shopify user must have permissions that allow apps to be installed. If you don’t see the option to authorize, an admin may need to adjust your Shopify user permissions.

Yoho will begin syncing product data automatically.

Example Use Case: Event-Based Content Creation

One of the most common ways brands use the Shopify integration is during launches and promotions.

For example:

  • A brand creates a marketing event in Yoho for an upcoming product launch

  • Products are attached directly to that event

  • Any briefs or assignments created for the event automatically include access to the product’s photos and videos

This gives contributors immediate visual context and reduces back-and-forth during briefing. Creators know exactly which product they’re working with and have the right assets from day one.

The result is faster production and higher-quality creative.

Important Notes

  • Yoho currently operates in read-only mode with Shopify

  • No data is written back to your Shopify store
