1. Open Your Profile
Launch the Instagram app, tap your profile picture, then tap the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner.
2. Go to Accounts Center
In the Settings menu, tap Accounts Center.
3. Select Password and Security
Under Account Settings, tap Password and Security.
4. Tap Change Password
In the Password and Security section, tap Change Password.
5. Choose Your Instagram Account
If you have multiple accounts, select the one you want to update.
6. Enter Your Current Password
If you know your current password, enter it in the Current Password field. Then, type and confirm your new password.
If you've forgotten your password, tap Forgotten your password? to receive a reset link via email or phone.
7. Verify with Two-Factor Authentication (if enabled)
If two-factor authentication is set up, Instagram will prompt you to enter a verification code sent to your email or phone. Enter the code to proceed.
8. Reset Your Password (If You Forgot)
If you've forgotten your password, follow the link sent to your email or phone, enter a new password, and confirm it. Tap Reset Password to complete the process.
Your Instagram password is now changed!
