๐Ÿ” Managing Recurring Tasks Using Templates

Updated over a year ago

Every business has routine tasks that are consistently assigned to certain team members. Jugl's Template feature simplifies the management of such recurring tasks. When you set up a task in Jugl, you have the option to transform it into a template. This template then becomes a blueprint for similar tasks in the future. So, whenever you need to delegate this recurrent task to your team, you can swiftly do so using the pre-set template, saving time and ensuring consistency.

In Jugl, creating a Task Template to assign routine tasks to your team is straightforward. Jugl offers two methods for creating templates:

Option 1:

  • When creating a task, navigate to "Task Detail".

  • At the end of this section, you'll find an "Additional" subsection.

  • Within "Additional", there's a checkbox labeled "Save this task as a template".

  • By selecting this checkbox and proceeding to create your task, Jugl will simultaneously produce the task and its corresponding template.

Option 2:

  • Go to "Task/Template".

  • Here, you can initiate the creation of a new task by clicking on the blue plus icon.

  • While crafting the task, you'll have the option to save it as a template.

  • After doing so, Jugl will establish a new template, which you can then view in the "template" tab.
