How to Upload Your Documents Correctly (Step-by-Step Guide)

Quick goal: Upload once. Get verified faster. Avoid rejections.

Updated today

Step 1: Choose the Right Document

Before anything else, confirm you’re using an accepted document.

Proof of ID (Nigerian users)

Use ONE of the following:

  • NIN Card

  • International Passport (bio-data page only)

  • Driver’s License

Important:

  • Do NOT upload a NIN slip

  • Upload only the front page of your ID

Proof of Address

Use:

  • Bank statement

  • Utility bill

Must:

  • Be issued within the last 90 days

  • Show your full name and full address

  • Match the details on your Juicyway account

Step 2: Prepare the Document Properly

Before taking the photo or uploading the file, check this:

  • Place the document on a flat surface

  • Ensure good lighting (natural light is best)

  • Make sure all text is visible

  • No shadows, glare, or reflections

  • Do not bend, fold, or cover any part

If it doesn’t look clear to you, it won’t pass verification.

Step 3: Take a Clear Photo (or Upload a Clean File)

When capturing or uploading:

✔ Show the entire document

✔ Keep the image sharp and readable

✔ Use the original photo or PDF

Avoid:

  • Screenshots

  • Cropped edges

  • Filters or image editing

  • WhatsApp-compressed images

Step 4: Upload the Correct Page

For Nigerian IDs:

  • Upload only the front page

  • If the system asks for the back, upload the front again

Do not upload:

  • The back of the ID (For Nigerians)

  • Multiple pages in one image

  • Someone else’s document

Step 5: Confirm Your Details Match

Before submitting, double-check that:

  • Your name matches your Juicyway profile

  • Your date of birth matches exactly

  • Your address (for POA) is the same as your account

Even small mismatches can cause rejection.

Step 6: Submit and Wait for Review

Once uploaded:

  • Submit the document

  • Avoid re-uploading unless prompted

  • Reviews are completed after proper checks

If something needs fixing, you’ll be notified.

If Your Upload Is Rejected

Don’t panic. This usually means:

  • The image wasn’t clear enough

  • The wrong document was uploaded

  • Details didn’t match

What to do:

  1. Read the rejection message (email) carefully

  2. Fix only what was flagged

  3. Re-upload a clearer, correct version

Most re-uploads pass once corrected.

Quick Visual Summary

Correct Upload:

  • Clear image

  • Full document visible

  • Valid, unedited document

  • Matches your account details

Incorrect Upload:

  • Screenshot

  • Cropped image

  • NIN slip

  • Blurry or edited photo

Final Tip

Slow and careful uploads save you time.

One clean upload is always faster than multiple rejections.
