How to Upload Your Documents Correctly to Avoid Rejection

Uploading clear, valid, and accurate documents the right way helps your verification go through faster and avoids unnecessary rejections. Verification issues are frustrating, we get it.

Before You Upload: Quick Checklist

Make sure your document meets all of the following:

  • The document is valid and not expired

  • The image is clear, sharp, and readable

  • The document is original (not forged or altered)

  • The information matches what you entered on Juicyway

  • There is no impersonation—only upload your own documents

If any of these are missing, the document may be rejected.

What a “Good” Document Upload Looks Like

Your document upload should:

  • Show the entire document (no cropped edges)

  • Be taken in good lighting (no shadows or glare)

  • Have all text clearly visible

  • Be a photo or PDF, not a screenshot

  • Be uploaded as-is (no filters, no edits)

Think of it this way: if someone else can’t easily read it, the system can’t either.

Use the Right Document Type

Only upload documents that are accepted for verification.

Proof of ID (for Nigerians)

Upload only the front page of:

  • NIN Card

  • International Passport (bio-data page)

  • Driver’s License

If the system asks for the back of your ID, upload the front page again.

Proof of Address

Accepted documents include:

  • Bank statement

  • Utility bill

Both must:

  • Be issued within the last 90 days

  • Show your full name and full address

  • Match the details on your Juicyway account

  • Not be a screenshot or edited file

Common Reasons Uploads Get Rejected

Here are the most common mistakes we see:

  • Uploading an expired document

  • Using a NIN slip instead of a valid ID

  • Uploading a screenshot or edited image

  • Cropped images where details are missing

  • Blurry photos or glare from camera flash

  • Name, date of birth, or address does not match your account

  • Uploading documents that belong to someone else

Avoiding these saves you time and repeat uploads.

If Your Document Gets Rejected

Don’t worry—it happens.

Here’s what to do:

  1. Read the rejection reason carefully

  2. Fix only what was flagged (no need to change everything)

  3. Re-upload a clear, correct version of the document

  4. Make sure your account details match the document exactly

Most re-uploads pass once the issue is corrected.

Final Tip

Upload slowly and carefully. Rushing document uploads is the fastest way to get rejected.

If you’re ever unsure:

  • Double-check the document type

  • Ensure clarity and accuracy

  • Upload only what’s required

Doing it right once is always faster than fixing it later.
