Jump is set to automatically generate pre-meeting prep notes a certain amount of time before a meeting. This only occurs if Jump is able to identify the client for that meeting.

However, you may need to manually generate pre-meeting prep notes. This may be the case if:

  • You want to see the notes for a particular meeting prior to when Jump would generate the notes automatically.

  • Jump is unable to find the client in your CRM and pre-meeting prep generation fails.

Note: You can adjust how far in advance Jump will generate pre-meeting prep notes for a client meeting. Check out this guide for more information: "How to automatically generate pre-meeting notes at your preferred time."

How to manually generate pre-meeting prep

To manually generate pre-meeting prep notes, select a meeting from the Upcoming tab on the left-side nav.

Within the meeting page, you'll see a Pre-meeting tasks section on the right-hand side. Click on the Generate pre-meeting prep button in this section.

If the pre-meeting prep is already generated, as indicated by a green circle to the left of the "Generate pre-meeting prep" text, users cannot currently regenerate pre-meeting prep.

The pre-meeting prep notes will then generate, which you can find in the Pre-meeting prep tab once finished processing.

If the notes do not generate, a box that says "Couldn't generate meeting prep" will appear.

Click into the field "Search for a contact." Select the correct contact from the drop-down menu or type in the name of the client for whom you want to generate pre-meeting prep notes.

The pre-meeting prep notes will then generate for that contact.
