Using Juro's Legal Agent

Introduction 👋


Just a few months ago, every Legal Team dreamed of having a fast-working, knowledgeable legal assistant who didn't bill by the hour or even need to sleep. But now, it's a reality.


Meet Juro's Legal Agent.

💡 NOTE: The agent works for all contract types. However, as the product is in its early stages we have only tested with NDAs, so it’s likely other contract types will not see good levels of accuracy. We are actively working on supporting other contract types.


Accessing the Legal Agent 🚪


Look for the Legal Agent tab in your dashboard’s sidebar. Click it, and you’ll land on the Agent’s home page.

Think of it as your legal assistant’s desk - clean, organized, and ready for work.


Uploading your playbook ⬆️


Org Admins can upload a playbook by:

  1. Hitting the Playbook button on the top right of the screen

  2. Selecting a DOCX file to upload

After a few minutes, your playbook will show in Juro and you're ready for your contract review.

If you don’t have a playbook, you can use or adjust a standard NDA playbook written by Juro, with more templates of different contract types to follow soon.


Reviewing your contract 👀


To start your contract review in Juro:

1. Click Review: the agent will ask for the document.

2. Upload your contract (DOCX documents or PDF only). Within 5 minutes, the agent will conduct the review process and produce results for you to consider.

💡 NOTE: Users working from Slack can also start reviews from there.


Understanding the Agent's results 💭


Once the review is complete, the Agent will generate one of two responses:

When everything’s working, you'll receive:

  • a verified copy of your contract

  • a message confirming compliance

When changes are needed, you'll receive:

  • a redlined version showing what needs fixing, with simple explanations for each change


Working post-review 🔅


Once you've completed your post-review work, you can:

  • Download your reviewed document

  • Give feedback (thumbs up/down)

  • Start another review

  • Request new features

There are a few things to note when using this early iteration of our Legal Agent feature

  • Only DOCX and PDF documents are accepted for now

  • Each review starts a new chat

  • Your chats are saved for future reference

  • Workspace admins can see all workspace reviews

  • Regular users see only their reviews
