Juro's MCP (Model Context Protocol) connection lets you search, analyse and work with your Juro contract repository in the tools you already live in.
The connector respects your Juro permissions, so you can only see and query what you already have access to in the app.
There's one shared activation step in Juro before you set up each tool on its own. Head to the relevant section below for what each client can do and how to set it up.
Before you start: Activate the MCP in Juro
Only Juro Org Admins can activate the Juro MCP connection.

Claude
Claude plan needed: Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise.
What you can do
Action | Result |

Edit a document | Make edits in the chat to apply them to the document body. Smartfield updates aren't supported yet. |

Upload as a new version | Push a revised file back to Juro as a new version of the existing contract record. |
How to connect
For Team or Enterprise plans
On Team and Enterprise plans, a workspace Owner or Primary Owner needs to add the connector to the organisation and configure network access first. Once that's done, everyone else can connect to it from their own account.
Part 1: Connect the MCP to your workspace (Owners)
This can either be done manually or automatically. If the automatic method doesn't work for you, please try the manual method below.

1. Open Connectors > MCP and click Add to Claude.ai

2. We'll pre-fill the custom connector information for you so you just need to click Add.  |

1. Head to Organization settings > Connectors in Claude. |
2. Click Add, hover over Custom, and select Web. |
3. Enter Juro as the Name. |
4. Paste in the MCP server URL you copied from Juro in Connectors > MCP |
5. Click Add to finish. |
Part 2: Configuring network access (Owners)
You only need to complete the steps below if you would like Claude to be able to edit, download and upload documents.

2. Ensure Code execution and file creation and Allow network egress are toggled on. |

Part 3: Add the connector individually (Members)

1. Head to Customize > Connectors in Claude. |
2. Find the Juro connector in the list. It'll have a Custom label next to it. |
3. Click Connect to authenticate, and you're ready to go. |
For Pro or Max plans

1. Head to Customize > Connectors in Claude then follow the steps in Part 1 above. |
2. Head to Customize > Capabilities in Claude then follow the steps in Part 2 above if you would like Claude to be able to edit, download and upload documents. |
Using Claude
Mention Juro in your chat and it'll pull from your document library, for example "Find my latest Acme Inc NDA on Juro".
ChatGPT
ChatGPT plan needed: Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu

How to connect
A ChatGPT admin will need to complete the steps below.
Instructions |
1. Head to Settings > Apps > Advanced settings and toggle Developer mode on, then click Create app. Developer mode is a temporary requirement while ChatGPT's custom MCP functionality is in beta. |
2. Paste in the MCP server URL (from this step) and select OAuth. The OAuth URL will fill in automatically.

3. The new app will sit in draft. To make it available to users in the ChatGPT workspace, go back to Settings > Apps, open the app, click the three dots, and select Publish. |
4. Toggle Developer mode back off. |
Using ChatGPT
Open a chat, click + > Use connectors, then ask your question. Use normal chat mode for quick lookups, or Deep Research if you need a deeper analysis of your documents.

1. In Wordsmith, select your repository and go to Settings > Advanced. |
2. Find the Juro MCP option and click Connect.  |
3. Confirm the connection when prompted. |

Ask your question directly once the connector shows as connected, for example "What's the termination clause in the Acme MSA?"
