Introduction ๐Ÿ‘‹

Keeping employee contracts up to date with Workday is incredibly straightforward, and now with Juro's Workday integration, it become even easier. Follow the three simple steps below to get everything set up ๐Ÿ‘‡

Step 1๏ธโƒฃ : Configuring things from the Workday side ๐Ÿ

First, you'll need to set up a custom report in Workday that should be exposed as a webservice. This should:

  • be configured to accept and return data in a certain way.

  • accept the following parameters:

    • "search" parameter: this will be your search criteria for filtering Workday data

    • "format=json" parameter: this instructs Workday to return data in json format

  • contain the following properties:

    • "employeeID"

    • "legalLastName"

    • "legalFirstName"

    • "country"

Once this is done, a webservice URL like the one below will be available, which you should copy to your clipboard

Step 2๏ธโƒฃ Configuring things from the Juro side ๐Ÿš€

To set things up from the Juro side:

  1. Go to Settings, and then Integrations

๐Ÿ’ก NOTE: Only Organisation Admins can see the Integrations tab within Settings. If you cannot see it, please ask your internal Organisation Admin to upgrade your access level. For more information on managing a user's access level, see our dedicated article.

  2. From the available integrations, Select Workday

  3. Enter your username, password and webservice url

  4. Click ะกonnect.

The integration is live! Next, it's time to set up a template and use your Workday data in a real contract.

Step 3๏ธโƒฃ Setting up a template with Workday data ๐Ÿ—๏ธ

To learn more about setting up a template in Juro, you can read our dedicated article on that topic. Once your template is set up:

  1. Create a Workday smartfield by selecting Workday Search from the smartfield type dropdown menu

  2. Add related fields by typing a name to bring up the data from Workday.

You can leave this field empty on the template, and fill it in with each employee's name as you create their individual contract.
