Introduction πŸ‘‹

Keeping employee contracts up to date with Workday is very straightforward, and now with Juro's Workday integration, it has become even easier. Follow the three simple steps below to get everything set up πŸ‘‡

Step 1️⃣ Configuring things from the Workday side 🍁

First, you'll need to set up a custom report in Workday that should be exposed as a web service. This should:

  • be configured to accept and return data in a certain way.

  • accept the following parameters:

    • "search" parameter: this will be your search criteria for filtering Workday data

    • "format=json" parameter: this instructs Workday to return data in JSON format

  • contain the following properties:

    • "employeeID" or relevant unique identifier (SupplierID or CompanyID)

    • "legalLastName"

    • "legalFirstName"

    • "country"

    • Any additional properties required to query into Juro smartfields

Once this is done, a webservice URL like the one below will be available, which you should copy to your clipboard:

https://wd2-impl-services1.workday.com/ccx/service/customreport2/Workers/Juro_Worker_Data_Outbound/Juro_Contract_Data?format=json&search=John

Step 2️⃣ Configuring things from the Juro side πŸš€

To set things up from the Juro side:

πŸ’‘ NOTE: You will need to be an Org Admin in Juro and an Administrator in Workday to set up this integration. For more information on managing a user's access level, see our dedicated article.

1. Go to the Integrations section of Autmations tab in the Juro workspace you'd like to connect the integration for and click the Workday panel.

NOTE πŸ’‘: If the Workday panel in Juro says GET IN TOUCH please contact the Juro Support Team to enable the integration for your workspace.

2. Enter your username, password and webservice URL and click Connect.

The integration is live! Next, it's time to set up a template and use your Workday data in a real contract.

Step 3️⃣ Setting up a template with Workday data πŸ—οΈ

To learn more about setting up a template in Juro, you can read our dedicated article.

Once your template is set up:

1. Create a Workday smartfield by selecting Workday Search from the smartfield type dropdown menu

2. Add related fields by clicking Add associated field, and add all related properties as fields within this section.

You can then leave this field empty on the template, and fill it in with each employee's name (or relevant) as you create their individual contract.

πŸ’β€β™€οΈ As always, our Support Team is happy to help you with anything further if needed. Start a chat with us right here by clicking the Intercom button in the bottom-right-hand corner of this page.

Alternatively, you can email your query to support@juro.com πŸš€
