Introduction πŸ‘‹

Juro's data-rich contract management platform makes it easy to find, query and organize contracts within the tool.

With Juro's tagging flow, users can effortlessly keep track of the documents uploaded to their workspaces by adding searchable descriptions and keywords.

Not only will this enrich your contract data, but it'll also make your contracts easier to find, saving you time that would otherwise be spent searching high and low for specific files.

Getting started with tagging 🏎️

When you import any document into Juro, you can do so against an existing template in your workspace; allowing you to avail of the structures you've already built for that template such as smartfields, conditional logic and pre-assigned signatories, approvers, and recipients.

You can also import any file(s) as a freestanding document, whereby you can build these elements from scratch.

Tagging documents against a template πŸ—οΈ

To tag a document that you've imported against a template, from your Contracts homepage:

1. Go into your template, and in the SYSTEM SMARTFIELDS tab of the template, add the relevant description or keyword(s) by which you'd like to tag your documents, and click Continue.

2. Click + Add document and select Upload from your computer.

3. Drag and drop your files into the upload portal, or click select from your computer to locate the files from your desktop.

4. Select your template from the Document type list and click Continue.

If your template does not appear here, it may be that it's currently unpublished. If that's the case, you can learn how to publish it here.

5. Select your template from the Document type list and click Continue.

If your template does not appear here, it may be that it's currently unpublished. If that's the case, you can learn how to publish it here.

6. Fill in the relevant smartfields and select Complete tagging.

Uploading documents without tagging them πŸŽ‹

To tag a document without using the structure of an existing Juro template, from your Contracts homepage:

1. Click + Add document and select Upload from your computer.

2. Drag and drop your files into the upload portal, or click select from your computer to locate the files from your desktop.

3. At the template select stage, click Skip.

4. The software will now prompt you to confirm that this is the step you'd like to take and remind the user that untagged documents may be harder to search for later on.

If you're happy to proceed, select Upload Anyway.

And that's it! Your document is now tagged with the custom keyword(s) or description that will make it easier for you to access it whenever you need it in the future.
