Recognition improves when it’s socialized with the entire company, by broadcasting kudos to dedicated channels, everyone has a chance to join in on the celebration.
You can forward kudos from any channel—private channels included—to a dedicated channel. If you’ve setup a User group, you can also filter down to the kudos given or received by the group.
Setting up a channel
When any member of your company, or a user group, gives or receives kudos, they'll be forwarded to the channel you select.
If you want to forward kudos by a specific user group, you have to create the group first.
In Slack
Jump into Settings > Broadcasting
Under Channel forwarding, click on Add channel
Choose "Everyone" or a specific user group
Check "Forward kudos from private channels" if you want to forward kudos given in private channels
Select the channel you want to forward kudos to
Save your choices and test it out by giving kudos
