Recognition improves when it’s socialized with the entire company, by broadcasting kudos to dedicated channels, everyone has a chance to join in on the celebration.

You can forward kudos from any channel—private channels included—to a dedicated channel. If you’ve setup a User group, you can also filter down to the kudos given or received by the group.

Setting up a channel

When any member of your company, or a user group, gives or receives kudos, they'll be forwarded to the channel you select.

If you want to forward kudos by a specific user group, you have to create the group first.

In Slack

  1. Under Channel forwarding, click on Add channel

  2. Choose "Everyone" or a specific user group

  3. Check "Forward kudos from private channels" if you want to forward kudos given in private channels

  4. Select the channel you want to forward kudos to

  5. Save your choices and test it out by giving kudos

In Microsoft Teams

  4. Select the team then the channel you want to forward kudos to
