You can connect your Apple Health to Kaido in order to automatically share your activity data and earn exercise points.

When hitting the 'sync' button on your activity log, your Apple Health will send us an activity summary for the current day that includes a record of your steps and workouts

Kaido will then award you exercise points. Your points are calculated based on the duration and intensity of your exercise, cross-referenced with your biometrics. If you are fit and healthy, you will have to work harder to earn your activity points than a less healthy colleague.

As Kaido receive an active summary, there may be a small difference between the activity reported on your Apple Health device and the activity logged in your Kaido app.

The reason for this is that Apple Health sends Kaido two activity types 1) a list of your daily steps and 2) a separate record for your 'workouts'

For Apple Watch users, 'walking' is sometimes classified as a workout on your Apple Health device based off the intensity and duration of your walk.

Apple however do not send Kaido a record of this 'walking' workout, we only receive the total number of steps completed during the walk.  As a result we add these workout steps to your total step count for the day and award points appropriately. This is the reason why your step count may sometimes appear higher in Kaido than it is in Apple Health.

To our knowledge the 'walking' workout is the only workout type affected in this way.
