At the start of a Kaido Challenge you will be asked to share your age, height and weight as part of the Challenge onboarding.

You may be thinking why does Kaido need to know such information about me?

Unlike traditional physical activity programmes that focus on who can do the most steps, activity etc during a time period, Kaido creates a more inclusive and accessible Challenge experience for its members by rewarding participants for the improvements they make in their physical activity over the Challenge period.

This means that you will be rewarded for any positive improvement you make in your physical activity over the course of the Challenge.

To do this, the Kaido platform must first understand where you are coming from by setting your baseline. We use your age, height and weight information to get any estimate of your daily energy expenditure at rest, and then calculate the difference between this and your perceived energy expenditure from activity to award your points.

Without this biometric information we would not be able to personalise our experience to you.

When inputting this information we want you to 100% confident that it will not be seen by anyone else, not even the members of your team. Not only that, but you are in full control of your data and can update/ request for it to be deleted at anytime.

At Kaido we take our responsibility for your personal information extremely seriously, our commitment to your personal data is shared as part of our Privacy Policy.
