You can connect your favourite smart watches (e.g Garmin and Apple Watch) and health & fitness apps (e.g MyFitnessPal and Strava) to Kaido to automatically share your steps and activity data as part of the Challenge.

Please note, Kaido uses the smartphones own health tracking apps; Apple Health for iOS and Google Fit for Android as a 'central aggregator' of data. Thus you should connect your favourite health tracking apps to your smartphone first, before then connecting your smartphone to Kaido.

The reason for this is that it ensures Kaido receives a single, clean feed of data from your device(s) and thus prevents instances where we receive duplicate data from one or more devices sharing information at the same time. It also enhances the simplicity of our product as it means we do not have to have lots of third party integrations to manage, all of whom share data in a slightly different way.

To connect your Health Tracker to Kaido.

1) Connect your Tracker to your Apple Health/ Google Fit account. These are free apps available on your smartphone.

2) Connect your Apple Health/ Google Fit to Kaido.

Please note you will be asked for your existing Apple Health / Google Fit credentials to create a secure, one-time connection for the purpose of sharing data as part of the Challenge. Please enter your Apple Health/ Google Fit account details and not your Kaido account details into the authorisation box.

Please also ensure that you agree to share all relevant steps/ activity data as part of the permissions as otherwise we risk not receiving your information.

For help and support with device integrations, please contact the Kaido team using the Intercom messenger in the app or by emailing support@kaido.org.
