Understanding RRA Integration
SP-API for Vendor Central accounts can have data delays of up to 72 hours for sales metrics. Our Rapid Retail Analytics (RRA) integration addresses this gap by providing more immediate insights into your sales performance.
How It Works
RRA uses 'ordered revenue' data to provide near real-time insights. Here's how the system processes this information:
Temporary Data Fill: For days where SP-API sales data is not yet available, RRA provides directional data based on ordered sales to give you more immediate visibility.
Automatic Updates: When the SP-API data becomes available (based on shipped sales), it automatically replaces the temporary RRA data.
Seamless Integration: This process is updated daily and affects all areas where Vendor Central Sales (Shipped Revenue) data is displayed.
Where it Will Impact
This update will only affect the Shipped Revenue metric, the default for Vendor Total Sales, and will apply only to the past 72 hours or until the gap is filled. You will see it impact Shipped Revenue in the following locations:
Vendor Total Sales in the main dashboard.
Sales Metrics Widget (i.e. Total Sales, TACOS, Run Rate, etc.). Please Note: if preferred sales metric is changed to shipped COGS then you will not see the RRA data here. Shipped COGS is not impacted by RRA.
Calculated metrics such as TACOS and Run Rate will be impacted throughout the platform.
Vendor Total Sales in Analytics Performance & Comparison Tool.
Vendor Sales in Daily Snapshot Emails.
Important Notes
RRA data is based on ordered revenue, and it is a unique metric to RRA and has no equivalent in either SP-API or Vendor Central itself.
Please note that RRA provides directional data. It is not expected to match one-to-one with Vendor Central sales data.
The system automatically manages the transition between RRA and SP-API data.
This enhancement allows for more timely decision-making while maintaining the accuracy of your historical data through automatic updates when official figures become available.
