Our Search Query Performance (SQP) feature gives you powerful insights into how customers interact with your products through search on Amazon. It tracks key metrics like search volume, impressions, clicks, add-to-cart actions, purchases, shipping speed, and pricing—giving you a clear view of how your brand and ASINs perform in the shopper journey. You’ll be able to see which search terms drive engagement, where your listings might be underperforming, and how your visibility compares to the competition.

With SQP, you can make smarter, faster decisions to grow your business. Use it to optimize product content, fine-tune pricing, improve your shipping strategies, and identify opportunities to expand your catalog. Whether you're tracking brand share, monitoring conversion funnels, or evaluating performance by fulfillment speed, our tools are designed to help you turn search behavior into strategic action.

📊 Search Query Performance Dashboard

The Search Query Performance Dashboard provides visibility into your search terms' effectiveness based on shopper behavior. It includes:

  • Search Displays

  • Clicks

  • Add to Carts

  • Purchases

⚠️ Note: Purchase and sales totals may not match those in your sales reports. This dashboard only includes performance metrics originating from search results. Queries are selected based on ASIN impressions and clicks during the selected timeframe, and not all queries qualify.

🏆 Search Query Score

  • A performance ranking of queries from best to worst.

  • Top 1,000 queries are currently shared.

  • This column cannot be hidden.

  • Ranking is calculated based on a combination of:

    • Search funnel impressions

    • Clicks

    • Cart adds

    • Purchases

    • Your brand's overall performance

By default, the list is sorted by query rank in descending performance order.

🔢 Search Query Volume

  • Total number of times a query was searched during the selected period.

  • All instances are counted, including:

    • Repeated searches by the same customer/session within 24 hours.

    • Clicking to the next page of search results (each page counts).

🔄 Search Funnel: Impressions

📌 Total Count

  • Total impressions for all ASINs shown in search results.

  • Includes both organic and sponsored placements.

  • Excludes ASINs shown in widgets like:

    • "Editorial recommendations"

    • "Top rated"

    • "Highly rated"

  • Includes products:

    • Above and below the fold

    • On all rendered pages

    • Seen through refinements (e.g., “Medium roast” added to “coffee pod”)

🏷️ Brand Count

  • Impressions of all ASINs for the selected brand.

📈 Brand Share

  • Percentage of total impressions from the brand.

  • Formula: Brand Count / Total Count

🔢 ASIN Count

  • Total impressions for the selected ASIN.

📊 ASIN Share

  • Share of total impressions attributed to the ASIN.

  • Formula: ASIN Count / Total Count

🚚 Shipping Speed Metrics

All metrics propagate shipping speed at the time of impression to downstream actions (click, add, purchase).

⚠️ Data Caveat: Metrics are incorrect for 03/31/23 and 04/01/23, affecting reports for:

  • Week 9 and 13 of 2023

  • March & April 2023

  • Q1 and Q2 of 2023

⚡ Same-Day Shipping Speed

  • Number of times an ASIN with “Same-Day Delivery” message was:

    • Impressed

    • Clicked

    • Cart-added

    • Purchased

  • Indicates delivery within 24 hours of purchase.

📦 1D (Next-Day) Shipping Speed

  • ASINs marked with “One-Day Delivery” and their downstream actions.

  • Offers slightly more flexibility for sellers than same-day shipping.

🚛 2D (Two-Day) Shipping Speed

  • Tracks impressions and conversions for ASINs with “Two-Day Delivery.”

📌 Comparing all three shipping speed metrics helps assess the impact of delivery speed on conversion rates for each query.

💰 Price Metrics

💵 Price (Median)

  • Median price of all ASINs for the query.

  • Excludes shipping and tax.

🏷️ Brand Price (Median)

  • Median price of ASINs within your brand for the query.

  • Excludes shipping and tax.
