Kapoq MCP Connector – Brand & Account Permissions

How admins manage user access in the Kapoq MCP, controlling which brands and accounts each user can query.

Written by Nadine Delaire

Overview

The Kapoq MCP now supports granular brand/account access. An assigned admin can control exactly which accounts each user is able to query through the MCP, so every team member only sees the data that's relevant to them.

What This Means in Practice

  • An assigned admin (or admins) can add users to the MCP and control which accounts each user can access.

  • Restricted users can only prompt and query against the accounts they've been granted. Everything else is hidden from them, including the names of other accounts.

Accessing the Admin Page

Admins manage permissions from the MCP admin page:

Note: The admin page can only be reached through the link above. You'll need to be assigned as an admin for your customer's MCP account to use the page.

Editing a User's Access

From the admin page, an admin can edit a user's scope to grant or restrict access to specific accounts:

Need Access or Admin Rights?

If you're not an admin and need access to a new account or an update to your current permissions, contact your internal admin — they can add or update your access on your behalf.

If you need admin rights, or you're not sure who your internal admin is, reach out to your Customer Success Manager for next steps.
